North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust was formed following a merger in April 2017 and in April 2018 the Board approved the Clinical Strategy and analysis of the demand data which has provided part of the guidance and the basis for this Estates Strategy.
The Trust has assembled a comprehensive Estates Strategy across the three Estates it owns to reflect the anticipated capacity and growth projected in the Clinical Strategy. The strategy addressed each site separately to ensure the Estate is fit for purpose in the delivery of clinical services.
Northmores led a professional team to deliver the Project Management, Architectural, MEP and Cost Consultancy services in support of the Trust’s activities as well as the production of the final document for publication.
This vitally important commission continues our close working relationship with the Trust and further adds to our knowledge and expertise around the Estate following the delivery of various projects and commissions across a number of the sites over the last decade.
We have subsequently delivered full project management and design team services for key projects contained within the Estates Strategy including an Outline Business Case for the Urgent Care and Emergency Department upgrade at Hinchingbrooke Hospital and the site masterplan and development strategy for the Stamford Hospital site.
