With over two decades in the construction industry, Jamie has cultivated a career characterised by progressive roles and diverse sector experience. From his early days as a site-based engineer, he advanced to become a mechanical design engineer, associate, and now serves as a Director at Northmores. His expertise spans healthcare, infrastructure, higher education, and historic and listed buildings, supplemented by significant contributions to local government and school projects.
As Director, Jamie leads multidisciplinary design teams, driving the delivery of high-quality, specification-compliant projects within tight deadlines and standards. Renowned for his proactive leadership, Jamie excels at fostering enduring stakeholder relationships while maintaining a relentless focus on technical excellence. His strong engineering foundation equips him to adeptly manage complex, technically demanding projects, consistently providing insightful challenges to design solutions as a lead consultant.
Notable achievements include winning the prestigious CIBSE East Anglia Region Low Carbon Performance Award (2015) for an innovative scheme that also earned two RIBA Awards. Jamie’s work reflects a commitment to sustainability, innovation, and industry-leading standards.
