Paul is a professional engineer and seasoned project manager with over 25 years’ experience delivering high-value, technically complex projects across the pharmaceutical and building services industries. Known for his calm authority and rigorous approach, Paul specialises in guiding projects from concept to completion—always focused on quality, compliance, and performance.

He has led the delivery of everything from £100K laboratory upgrades to £1 billion+ R&D facilities. Paul has worked client-side and consultancy-side for major players including AstraZeneca and GSK, giving him rare insight into stakeholder management, regulatory environments, and risk mitigation across the full project lifecycle.

At AstraZeneca’s Cambridge HQ, Paul led the MEP and process systems delivery through design, construction, commissioning, and soft-landing—ensuring safe, compliant handover of critical infrastructure. He’s also managed expert teams across infrastructure, utilities, process, and building systems, always ensuring project goals align with wider business strategy.

Paul began his career as an award-winning apprentice, going on to earn a chemical engineering degree later in his career. Paul has worked his way through technical, engineering, and project roles with integrity and precision.
